Literature Text

I wonder...I wander, and wish I really would
Write such wise and witty words that they could weave a wondrous world
Where will o' wisps and winged things can whisper to the wind
Which also carries werewolves' howls and wary yowls within
The wizards watch, and whirl and whir, and work their wily spells
While warriors wield their weapons, and the women wait at wells.
Wild wand'rers wake near waterfalls, and waifs wail out their woes.
And I, their warden, willingly, will walk where'er they go
Wreak war on them, win peace for them, and hold them while they weep.
For I will love what I have wrought; their stories I will keep.
Did I ever share this? Wrote it a few months ago, as a "description" for my tumblr...just sort of making sense of my screenname. When I chose it it was because I wished I would actually draw and write instead of just thinking about it; now that I do, I wondered what "Wish I Would" means to me now.

:)

Oh and the "W" thing just happened in the first few lines so I was like "okay!" and went with it. Note that other than "will," none of the W words repeat...!

Thanks to *zealousshadow for help rewording the last line. :)

Wow! What wonderful words woven with such whimsy! :frail:

I really like the description and am impressed that you made the poem rhyme as well. I can totally visuallize you walking in your world following your characters and writing, making sure things are turning out as they should be. The last line limps a bit due to the 'yoda speak.'

What about "Their stories I will keep" ? Just a suggestion.
